In Liguria the mechanization of harvesting is impossible, but this does not mean that it cannot be innovated in other ways, for example by reducing waste.

In an age where resources are scarce and nature deserves a lot of attention, here comes ELAISIAN from Roi. An innovative start-up founded in 2016 with the aim of promoting knowledge transfer and innovation in the olive sector through the development of precision agriculture aimed at protecting olive trees.

Thanks to this innovation, we have earned the certification for "Precision Agriculture" and we are very proud of this.

WHAT IS IT?


High-tech solutions available to olive companies to analyze and prevent risks in the entire production cycle of olive tree processing, guarantee the monitoring and study of data and information, so as to be able to plan corrective interventions or improvements.

Therefore, thanks to a system of algorithms, based on a database of agronomic studies, ELAISIAN is able to prevent diseases and optimize cultivation processes, from irrigation to fertilization.

HOW DOES IT WORK


In simpler words, Elaisian gives us a program and an antenna. The antenna must be positioned in the relevant campaign and the program allows us to read its data.

The satellite sends us 3 maps, one for water concentration, one for nourishment and one for tree stress.

By combining the 3 maps, we always know where and how to act, to waste nothing.
